Is there any thing that would prevent me taking an Atma Kriya yoga and meditation course?
If you have high blood pressure or severe heart complications, one should not practice Atma Kriya. Also if one has a history of mental illness or is currently substance addicted, Atma Kriya, through the purification process it creates, could complicate the issues further.
What if I can't commit to practicing Atma Kriya every day because my life too busy, is it still worth doing the course?
Atma Kriya techniques can be practiced for 15 minutes a day all the way up to 3-4 hours a day - whatever works for you. However, the more practice you do, the quicker you will feel the benefits.
I already practice meditation from another tradition, is it O.K. to practice both styles or do I have to commit to just doing Atma Kriya after the course?
You are free to practice any techniques you feel drawn to. However, it is important that you do not mix the techniques. Each system of practices has certain benefits and if you begin to mix the different systems we can't guarantee on the results.
