Atma Kriya In Depth

On the Atma Kriya course you are supplied with an excellent manual to use as reference when you practice at home. However, some people like to go through the techniques again at a later date with a teacher and this is why Atma Kriya 'In depth' was created.

Atma Kriya 'in depth' has been designed to deepen your Atma Kriya practice. It will allow you to refresh your knowledge of the course and share your experiences with others. Many teachers also use this course as an opportunity to extend the philosophical teachings that underpin the Atma Kriya techniques.

This one day course is an opportunity for you to ask questions to an Atma Kriya teacher, meet other students or talk about experiences you may have had after some months of practice.

Many teachers use the 'In depth' course as an opportunity for students to simply practice together. Spiritual community assists in personal practice and it also creates a group energy which moves that community closer together.

Practicing in a group assists individual spiritual growth, it allows us to connect with like minded people and it creates an atmosphere of unity. This course is not just about refreshing the techniques, it's also about sharing and deepening the energy created through Atma Kriya practice with others.

Mudras Level One

Mudras are gestures performed using the hands or other parts of the physical body. They channel energy to parts of the body that need healing and they can also develop spiritual qualities. Eastern medicine tells us that physical and mental illnesses are caused by an imbalance of the 5 elements, mudras help to restore the balance of these elements allowing for greater health and vitality. Mudras generate better concentration during meditation; they can also awaken the spiritual heart and increase intuition.

Left: Swami Vishwananda gives a short talk about the 5 elements and how we can address the imbalances within us by the use of simple hand mudras.

Our mudras are increase health and vitality in the physical body as they are designed to purify and energise specific areas of the body. Different mudras focus on healing certain organ or body parts such as the eyes, heart, head and ears. Some people have experienced better vision, improved memory, less anxiety and better sleep after practicing our mudras.

Spiritualtest1The unique thing about Atma Kriya is that the yoga and meditation techniques can be practiced separately from each other and divided up during the day and that helps a lot, although personally I prefer to practice them all together." - Vittoria Vitale, Riva del Garda, Italy.
